The 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon if officially underway! This is the ultimate JDM automotive scene experience. This is the first year Street Standard has been apart of the iconic Tokyo Auto Salon, and we couldn’t be more excited. Its like the SEMA show with a stylish twist. The Japanese automotive culture has very unique styling compared to the traditional U.S automotive market.
It wouldn’t be uncommon to see stanced mini vans, or bejazzeld Lamborghini’s at the Auto Salon
One of the most popular cars we’ve seen so far is the infamous Liberty Walk Drift Lamborghini Murcielago driven by Daigo Saito in the D1 Grand Prix Drift series.
Who doesn’t like drifting on 19 inch wheels?!
We hope one day the Toyota Supra Concept Car actually goes in production! Unfortunately photos just can’t show the craftsmanship behind Toyota Supra Concept build.
After a long day at the show, Kei Muira-San invited us out to enjoy some traditional Japanese food. This gave us an opportunity to talk about future Street Standard / Rocket bunny projects. We couldn’t of asked for a better host!
