Street Standard Stuns at SEMA 2015

SEMA, otherwise known as the Specialty Equipment Market Association, holds the largest automotive convention every year in Las Vegas, Nevada. “The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center.” Street Standard was fortunate enough to attend the SEMA Show in their first year of business. Not only did they attend, but they brought 5 vehicles they specifically built for the show. These vehicles ranged from a Lamborghini Murcielago, a Nissan 240SX, and even a Chevrolet Silverado.

The SEMA Show changed everything for Street Standard. Not only did their stellar builds impress even the most prestigious of builders such as Kei Miura and Wataru Kato, to name a few, but it developed an image for the Street Standard team. This image is developed by the fans, builders, and friends of Street Standard and not by the team themselves. With this image development and newfound fame that is happening comes with it some awesome new changes.

Street Standard will never be the same after SEMA 2015. The company will experience numerous changes and will grasp on to this image that has been fostered for them. New partnerships with some of the biggest names in the industry including Liberty Walk, Rocket Bunny, Autometer, and AIRREX will push Street Standard to go above and beyond what they ever imagined. Going forward followers, friends, and family can expect to see a completely new designed website, new parts list, and new company offerings (full custom builds designed by Street Standard, in-house manufactured parts and apparel, and more). The team is very excited to show you what is in the works so get ready, because SEMA is not the end, it is only the beginning!

About Street Standard

What began as just an idea between two drifters came to a reality in the form of a performance parts retailer in April, 2015. Corey Hosford and Matt Haugen came together to see what they could do with their unique skill sets, one being a professional race car driver and the other an entrepreneur from ASU. Since then a lot has changed, especially after building 5 vehicles for the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now Street Standard has developed an image for themselves that has gained recognition from some of the largest automotive companies and designers. Only the future will hold what's next for the company, but you can expect new partnerships with industry leaders, ground breaking customer and company builds, competition drifting from both owners, and multiple new retail websites.
